<p><strong>Fargo S2</strong>, watched the first episode (before falling asleep on the couch and missing the 2nd). Set in 1979, a mass murder at a Waffle store, a subsequent road accident, a trucking family patriarch having a stroke, an outside firm trying to take advantage of the situation, a husband & wife making poor decisions, sets up the start of a good season (I hope).</p>

Saw a great theory about the characters are going deaf from firing all the guns (and Rick in the tank in season one). Explains how the walkers can sneak up on them all the time

They are supposed to be outnumbered 10000 to 1 according to the shows maker. In world war z people did some fairly stupid stuff like taking pills that were supposed to stop you from turning if you got bitten . The pills were placebos and the guy that was selling them took his millions to Antarctica and lived on the Russian base. <br><br>
People trusting corrupt big pharma, sigh. -

Only it made it halfway through the first episode. Much suckage. -
<p>Son was saying that the survival rate in walking dead was around 13% so why are there still zombies its not like they are breading (except by "natural causes" ~ but once groups worked that out even that number will be reduced by preventative measures). If you take Ricks group as your typical survival pod they've all killed at least 10 zombies each. On some days they'll do that just before breakfast. Even if you drop the rate down to 0.1% surely Rick and the crew have killed a 1000 zombies each after a few years</p>

<p>Very Jon Snow isn't it. I was surprised how the death was so 'minor' for a main character, but started reading the online reaction and pretty much straight away posts like that were turning up. How the hell did he survive though? I assume it's Nicholas on top of him getting chowed down, but where does he go, under the dumpster?</p>
