A few journeymen in that squad but not sure there are any obvious alternatives at the moment, so at least Schmidt is trying some new journeymen out! Though can't for the life of me see how Gordon and Wright are still in the frame.

Whoops, Tom Wright. Liam Wright's a gun.

Even at his peak I think TW's only a decent running fullback, but he doesn't have the kicking game or game management to be great there.

Wright is there because - quite frankly - nobody else is standing up to take the spot.

Kellaway is a good player but had a fairly ordinary year. Nobody from the Tahs is worthy. Jock Campbell from the Reds I like. Donaldson looks like being a 10 in this squad but maybe a utility.

@NTA Kellaway is first back on the team sheet. He is a gun player and even in a less than optimal year his class was a notch above and still shone through, especially watching him live.

I'd prefer Donaldson or Kellaway at the back (and wouldn't hate to see someone like Lynagh get a run there).

Appreciate Kellaway's not set the world alight this year but if he's going to be named in the team anyway, it might as well be at fullback.

                        Should be competitive and entertaining

Can't see too many changes for Wales in the backs

Maybe Davies to start at 9 and Bevan on the bench

Tompkins instead of Watkin at centre

Would like Ben Thomas to feature in the 23

Lewis in for the injured Assiratti

Carter and Jenkins in the second row

Plumtree, Refell, Wainwright in the back row for me

Hathaway to debut on the wing

Good mix of experience and youth
Wales on the slide, 7 losses in a row I think

                                          We could struggle at scrum
                                          Locks and back row solid

                                          Scrum half winning second cap
Outside half playing there for first time at international level
                                          Not our best centre partnership

                                          Good backs bench

                                          So Wales by 5-9
