Both of these teams need better loose forwards if they're going to be a realistic shot at the playoffs.

What the fuck was that? The tight forwards looked lost, the structure disappeared. No one has the ability to take command in this team and add some direction

Reckon we could see a fair improvement in shape on attack with the 21 and 22.

We desperately need Millar one. He has a cool head and we’re going to need all the points we can get. But honestly, the whole team is like deers in the headlights. So frustrating

It won't be enough by the time they get on anyway.

I think Lasaqa is our best seven. Our two best sixes in Haig and Howden are both laid up. So a better combo is there

@SouthernMann Yeah, that's true. A few injuries early on.

@SouthernMann Those types of cheap penalties are such a blight on the game that they should be a penalty try as well.

Haig I reckon is such an important player to this team. An everything player.

Haig, Millar, JVK, Holland (most of the time) are just incredibly sensible. We need some level headed players on the field

Ffs it’s all doom and gloom in here and it’s only been 40 minutes into the season and 13-12 at halftime, you’d think we were down by 20 by some of these messages.

A very simple gameplan on attack in the first half, almost dumbed down to make things a bit easier for Hastie and Robinson and not overwhelm them. Don’t think we can expect to win if we carry on with that gameplan though, expecting Millar and Fakatava to come on relatively early and open things up a bit.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Manson coming off his wing and getting busy, it isn’t NPC now fella, come in and get involved.

We are still in this, nothing silly, continue to make the tackles and we could come away with the W.

Yeah I shouldn't have picked him in fantasy.

I'm generally stoked with how things are going. All we heard before the game was tahs tahs tahs. A better lineout throw and we were up by 2 or 7/9 at the break. Their biggest weapon is an up.and under, yet their million dollar man can't catch a cold.

@SouthernMann I had a look at the Tahs lineup before the game and was confused by all the optimism. 4, 5, 7, and 8 are all rather average.

Have read a lot of write ups over the last few days. Some average big city players get kudos, some good Highlanders players get ignored. We aren't full of All Blacks, but still have some decent players.
