We had a couple of log files that were getting large. I killed them and restarted everything
Hopefully that improves things

We'll need a better solution at some stage. New server and clean install (with a data migration of course). Crap builds up over the years
That would be AB season at the earliest. Hopefully it will limp along ok until then

still super slow for me, i timed a few and load times are between 45sec and 1min 20sec....some just failed to load, appreciate the efforts to sort it though

embeds are back on as they were not the culprit
Will build a fresh server with some better protection next month. Until then we limp along and I'll restart services regularly.
It was mostly fine during the day. It's worth keeping track of what time the slowness happens

I remember going on a New-Years road-trip, while being on-call - and needing to stop and beg shop-owners to plug my laptop into their phone-lines to connect and solve a problem.
I had a pager. Honest-to-god fucking pager.
