Hayden Michaels must really be in the doghouse.

Glad that Lennox is getting a shot. Suprised that Loft is. As @Bovidae said Michael’s must really be disliked by Joseph. He and Wingham both seem to be Dermody picks that Joseph does not rate.

Bit suprised Millar was available for selection and didn’t make the cut. Falefaga has not impressed me of late. Resting Telea and De Groot does make sense.

Worried that DLB will get monstered by the Brumbies scrum. Can’t really see us winning this one unfortunately.

Not an easy place to travel and win. Hope the Highlanders front row are up for a contest.

@frugby I quickly think we won't get an Ugly win without Cam Millar featuring. I remember a few games last year we shouldn't have won he absolutely pinned the opposition in their half with his kicking and we ground them down defensively. I'd like to see that again.

First game this season I've looked at and thought I don't think we will get close this week.

                            Hope I'm wrong.

Weather looks warmish, but a bit damp

@SouthernMann think this might be the first time in ages none of the landers 23 have any experience at Test level, no de groot or fakatava tonight and even in recent lean years there's been a Jermaine Ainsley or Patchell involved

These stats aren't great reading for the Highlanders:

                                • The ACT Brumbies have won their last four games against the Highlanders
                                • The last four Super Rugby Pacific games at GIO Stadium between these two sides have been separated by one or two points at half-time
                                • The ACT Brumbies have won 11 of their last 12 games at GIO Stadium, whilst the Highlanders have lost 10 of their last 11 games in Australia

I understand it's a contact sport but that type of head contact is avoidable - dumb shit

So reckless he hardly made contact. Not like UJ had only just caught it either. Saved a red by being a spaz.
