A shithouse reffing performance. But we let them play to our weaknesses. Some big positives from it. Some very basic negatives though

agree entirely, we were clearly good enough to win in spite of the reffing.. had we simply played smart -
Three clear turnovers that the ref refused to award. I can't recall a ref being so biased.
@handa457 thats about as bad as i have seen from any official , normally i’m one to cut the official some slack but so many of the calls have been onsided ..
They highlamders have been their own worst enemies but all you ever ask for is breakdown consistency -

Bugger, Landers are so much better than last year. If they can keep this group together for the next couple of years I think something special is brewing.

That felt like a pre determined result from that referee. Like I said, I can handle losing fair and square but that was a genuine piss take. The boys must be feeling pretty deflated after that.
Ref needs dropped, literally.

Ref needs dropped, literally.
Seems to happen a lot, especially in Canberra. Seen it happen far too often to the Canes in the last four years there.
