More so the assistants - but here’s the thing. Name me a coach who has done well in a second stint… my fear was, and still is, that he might just be a coach from an older era.
The big positive he brings is better selection, and better recruitment, but I still maintain I’ve seen worse Highlanders teams play better. I’m not using this year as the litmus test, but I think it is entirely possible JJ isn’t the messiah we want him to be.

The same Jamie Joseph that won that one title in 2015, left, did “x” with Japan that made him one of the best coaches in the world and would fix all the highlanders problems?

Although, that Lasaqa turnover is a perfect illustration. There's something rotten in their heads with the amount of half chances that are meekly turned over immediately. Drop it, pass it to the opposition, ruck turnover.... Almost every fucking time.
