Just looking at that last try again. A hell of an effort from Beehre
I'm surprised that he gets so little attention from the media. It's all about Holland. Beehre should be in the conversation for the ABs.
Beehre is a gun aye. Has he just come back?
Not sure. He didn't start last week, but I can't remember if he came off the bench or not.

I think the only choking from the Chiefs really was the decision to kick for goal.
The Blues were pretty lucky to escape with the win so don't see why any team would feel comfortable playing the Chiefs now, who will also go into every match with a massive point to prove.

Blues players don't get a lot of love in fairness. Beehre has been one of our best but Holland gets all the wraps (no dig on Holland btw), AJ Lam has been a shining light for a few seasons now, but hardly anyone knows who he is because Tavatavanawai gets most of the love (a decent player too), Fusitu'a has had a massive season but people still barely know who he is.
Social Media and the media themselves barely give Blues players a mention, unless it's having a go at Rieko Ioane, BB, how lazy Hoskins Sotutu apparently is, and maybe Caleb Clarke because he's a nice guy, that's it.

Also has to be noted that the Chiefs lost their captain before kick-off, plus Simon Parker and Josh Lord during the match, and ended up having a midfielder on the flank and a first five in the midfield.
If the injuries are only short-term and Tupaea returns next week, they'll be an even more formidable side.

Does anyone feel another home semi is too much of an advantage for Chiefs?
Not only do they get a second life they get a home game
Rewards for being top seed I guess, which I have no complaints with.
Yeah we’ve all known the rules since the start of the season so can’t complain.
I'm not complaining for this year
I'm saying should it be looked at for next year
The reward should be a second life
Not a second life and a home semi

Josh Lord
To be expected.
Managed six games in a row! Might be a record.

I'm probably in the minority myself, but I do feel like being minor premiers deserves reward, so I'm happy for them to get rewarded for it.
It gives 1st place more meaning.

After watching those last few minutes, I really don’t want to see Finau anywhere near an All Blacks 6 jersey in important games. That was shambolic from him.
Would have been correctly carded several times by NH refs. Shoulder charges, late tackles.

Only watched highlights
Great contest
Chiefs choked like the Irish
Losing and advancing to a home SF just shows how retarded the 'organisers' of SR are

That game speaks to how good Super rugby is this year.
Any team can tip up another.
Shitty as a Chiefs fan but great as a Super rugby fan.
And, if the Blues tip up the Saders and we sneak past the winner today, a re-match would be neat.I must admit that the Chiefs are often my favourite team to watch.

Or is it?
They do make for great games, and I really don't want the fucking Saders to win again, so you guys better go do a job next week.

There was some chat on here that Ryan and Sotutu have now buried the hatchet
Hopefully not in a back (oops, double meaning)..

@Tim I really enjoyed watching the Chiefs in the final last year
Saved the Blues boys a trip to Wellington as well.

I did mean when they aren't playing the Blues.
