That doesn't feel like a choke, nor did an away loss to the Blues. Going to Christchurch in winter to take on the Crusaders was never exactly a guaranteed Chiefs win to choke on...

Great win Crusaders. Not pretty but perfect finals footy. Tackled like demons, stayed disciplined, chased every kick, kept it tight. far too good.
Diabolical by the Chiefs, an absolute shit show.

A 10 who does the basics effectively is worth keeping an eye on.

Chiefs forwards didn't carry well or control ball in the second half. DMac little leadership.
Tupaea very good.
So often a great backline attacking team gets to a final and can't use the ball.
