Brumbies v British & Irish Lions
-
Try time Brumbies off the set piece.
-
Lions defence caught too compressed and good wide pass from the Brumbies
-
Conversion no good.
12-10 Lions

Sheehan led with elbow there.
Split second reaction to someone coming in high. Nothing wrong with it
Tackler gone off for a HIA now.
It was Sapsford that copped that forearm to the face you are referring to. He’s still out there. May have been collateral damage for the other guy

Toole in that space never going to be caught.
-
Great turnover there by one of the Lions fatties - couldn’t see the #.
Poor kick while hot on attack.
-
Lovely hands. Lions in.

He made a good run up the middle too.

19-10 Lions at HT.

The Lions hooker goes bloody well.
And some on here were picking Kelleher as the test hooker. It's not even close between the three!
-
Kinghorn is HIA apparently. If he can't be back in this game, then surely thats his test spot gone.
Similar to other tour matches at this point, Lions clearly better players but opposition playing better as a team and not going away.
I think this may well change in 2nd half though, as the Lions do look like they aren't too far off clicking.

Short drop out there was utter stupidity
Gave the Lions a sniff so close to HT. Poor decision.

this on the Beeb made me raise a chuckle ...
From the moment Dan Sheehan took the ball into contact that try was Made in Ireland.
Gibson-Park - Aki - Ringrose - Conan - Sheehan - Lowe
Who says combinations don't matter….
Made in NZ surely........a predominance of Kiwis in that list.
-
Excellent run down the left wing by the Brumbies. Lineout for the Brumbies 5m out. But they cough it up.
-
Brumbies not making the most of their deep attacking opportunities.
