@game_film Not sure everyone. Everyone involved in Rugby in Australia for sure. But there's lots of talk in the UK and Ireland among Rugby insiders and sponsors already that the 2037 Lions tour should be to France.

Those people are retarded. Australia has a long history with the Lions and has been competitive. This tour isn't even over yet and the first Test wasn't even a blowout.

Well I don't think it will happen, but people saying it are people like the Chaiman or the likes of the Lions. I can't see it happening as Aussie states pay so much to get these games in their cities. Though I can understand why it thrown out there. A bit of publicity etc , help get more money in for this tour etc?

I may be the lone voice, but I have no desire to see the BIL tour France

Absolutely. For the home teams it is already 12 years between tours. That's long enough. Make it 16 years and you lose those fantastic stories like Morne Steyn (the fluffybunny) kicking a last minute penalty to win the 2009 series and then doing the same thing in the 2021 series.

Also don't fuck over 100+ years of tradition in order to make even more money out of something that is already a giant money spinner.

Just fuck off and leave my game alone.

Just not sure Aus have the star quality to get up.

I hope they do. But am expecting a comfortable, unspectacular win to the BILs.

Why does "please be upstanding" piss me off?

    Try " Please stand..."

    Off to the GOM thread...

The adjective upstanding is good for describing someone who is a good and honorable person, like your trusted best friend.

A person with a reputation for honesty and strong morals can be called upstanding. The word is often paired with citizen, especially when someone's talking about a public or well-known figure: "Everyone knows the high school principal is an upstanding citizen." Its root is Old English, and the earliest meaning was literally "standing up." It wasn't until the 1860's that upstanding gained the meaning of "honest and respectable."

3 - 0 to the Wallabies. Good opening five minutes.

Restart catches the Wallabies napping and it's a five metre lineout. Wallabies do well to exit from their half.

Wobblies tackling has a lot of sting in it.

Aussies looking better already. It's amazing what some big bodies can do for a team. Hope they keep it up.
