    Weird game but deserved from Wellington. Fuck it's cold here.

    Waikato have run out of time. The way they started the second half, I thought they would overrun Wellington inside 20 minutes. But Wellington came back and take the bonus point win. Last task is to prevent them scoring and gaining a bonus point

    Solid win by Wellington. Lakai was very good, a welcome sight but the Lions probs won’t see much more of him this year.

    Nice touch by Lakai giving his boots away to a fan.

    Mathis should concentrate on midfield, he's got it all for that, reminds me of Kriel. Cover wing and cover openside at a pinch.

    @Bones

    I was thinking the same. 13 in particular. He’ll still get to use his speed and he’ll get plenty of chances over the ball on defence

    The wind was very strong, and Waikato struggled to get out of their half in the 1st half when kicking. We started the 2nd half well but handling errors and passive defence let in some soft tries. Hopefully we get some players back soon. Sinkinson didn't look very comfortable when he left the field, and the backline is already missing so many players.

    Christ the Waikato hookers are mud

    Pita Anae-Ah Sue is OK around the field, and I said to my friends that the lineout would fall apart with him throwing. He's the 4th choice hooker at the moment but I would rather Filipo had picked a local.

    Only based on highlights, but Numia seemed to have a good game.

    Yep he seemed back to his lively self. Carried strongly all game. Hopefully the Lions get Aumua back soon as he’s likely to play a full NPC with Wellington coming back from injury.
