That was too easy. Auckland giving up a simple try just before half time.

What's wrong with playing wet weather rugby?

@antipodean said in Auckland v Taranaki:

What's wrong with playing wet weather rugby?

..and playing a tighter game plan makes even more sense with late changes and illness

    Glorious day,
Watch the Mariners knock 11 runs to roll over the NY Mets,
Followed immediately by the Seahawks smashing the 2024 SuperBowl runner-up KC Chiefs.
And now, get home to see the mighty 'Naki Bulls dominating the hapless Aucklanders.
What a day, what a glorious day.

Forwards making good ground with the carry clean in close, so they fling it to the backs once they're less than five metres out. And predictably it doesn't go to hand.

Time for some forwards to start punching teammates.

Some of this rugby being played in wet conditions by Taranaki despite the disposition of the home team with unavailability’s is absolutely sensational
The skill level is out the gate

This is painful. Can't take out this many players against good teams like Taranaki

Beautiful work by Rona. Reads the second man play and applies defensive pressure. Picks up the loose ball and kicks ahead perfectly for Lennox to score.

Fair to say Segners absence has a massive impact on this Auckland team

Again a couple of metres out and Beehre ends up playing halfback, throws an average pass to Taele who snatches at it and they lose possession.

    Chance after chance wasted.
