@W32 regurgitating the WC is going to wear thin real quick if your Boks continue to play as pathetically as that fella…

Great performance by the Wallabies. Once they adjusted to the Springbok attack, their drift defence worked really well, just soaking up those SA wide attacks and isolating ball carriers. Best game of Fraser McReight’s career, I’d say, even with that weak tackle effort for Kolisi’s try.

South Africa, on the other hand, were very naïve in the way they attacked, with very little care for numbers or support. If they’re going to continue with this game plan, then you’d feel they need to thoroughly rejuvenate this side. Players like Etzebeth, De Jager and Marx looked spent after half an hour. Then again, I think this whole attacking Bok game plan is just one giant smoke screen for the 2027 World Cup, anyway.

Libbok might have just played his last Test match. Willemse will probably get another shot but some of his tackling at fullback was really poor. It’ll be interesting to see how the Boks respond. After playing wide like this against the Irish in the first July Test of 2024 (and only just getting away with it), they went back to their direct game plan, which ended up backfiring as well, since the Irish won the second Test. I’m expecting they’ll try the same thing here, so the Wallabies will need to front up in Cape Town. Big game for big Will.

Once Wobblies got outside Boks inside out defence it was easy pickings.

A number of Boks looked like they’d bulked up at expense of stamina over 40m.

Rassie pays price for picking a B+ team.

          Backline lacked nous.

Assuming NZ win against Argentina, they'll finish the weekend top in the world rankings.

@allblackfan2 you really don’t. A boring 25-12 win with no drama is exactly what you want. Just ask Bok supporters 😂

I know Rassie has been blooding a ton of new players, but are they actually anywhere near some of the older troopers? Feinberg Zulu and possibly Canan Moodie, who else???

Bongi 34, Kolisi 34, Etzebeth, de Allende 33, Faf De Klerk 33,PSDT 32., de Jager 32

                                  Just watched the replay --

Boks looked unstoppable for first 18 - 20 mins ..The box kicking was very accurate and put all kinds of pressure on the Wallabies. Then they noticeably started tiring up front - I feel BOK (ref) insisting on a fast game aided this.

To keep Boks scoreless in second 40 was impressive, big efforts by Aussie back row with some key turnovers.

Boks discipline was very poor with repeated infringements -- TRC is wide open now.

The boks aerobic fitness was awful, the faster pace of super rugby this year might have helped the aussies

Shot mate. Didn’t need luck as it turned out. They defended about as poorly as the Boks must’ve in the second half. Got a lot of sad looks and commiserations from the boys as I came off the field and was genuinely bamboozled. I mean, I wasn’t Carter in the 2nd Lions test, but we still put up the half ton.

I guess this game goes into the tiny number of bok tests I’ve never watched.

That in my opinion, was probably best I have seen Wallabies play. They were pretty impressive, and by same token the Boks seemed to just crumble when pressure came on. Wallabies also showed the benefit of a good hard series against Lions. That was a warning for us all for Wallabies this year.

Watching delayed and saw the perfect example of when a ref should just ping a bloke rather than warning him. We had that discussion earlier in the year. Can't remember who with. Was in a Drua match in Fiji.

If the half dummies just ping him Ben. He knows it's wrong. It doesn't need a warning.
