I've only seen the highlights but bloody hell what a start for SA and what a bloody turnaround from Aus.

2 points of surprise for me:-

    1. I thought Nic White had retired?
    2. The clear out by Nche in the lead up to the first try had echoes of Morgan's clear out but nothing mentioned/whined about?

    1. They convinced White to come back after Gordon was injured.

    2. Just not going near ruck clean outs ...

I watched the replay on Stan this morning

After 10mins I’d heard the names White and Hooper and JOC, and I had to wonder if I’d accidentally put on a replay of a game from 10 years ago!

Not sure why the Boks decided to play touch footy instead of just bashing us.

Next week is going to be wayyyyy different

Once they got early success maybe they just fell in love with high tempo rugby, and couldn't revert back to plan A when it started going sideways?

Which shows that Etzebeth is a shit captain, and Libbok is a shit flyhalf.

And I realise all the fucking Boklodytes will want to shove those words down my throat when they win next week, but the point stands: like Lions Test 2, you gave up a handy lead and dominant position, and those 2 were responsible, being in charge at the time

@NTA that’s what happens when your captain can’t last more than 45 mins. ABs take note 😬

I don't get why - Kolisi looks fit as fuck and should be bossing it for 80 like Ardie does.

Yeah sure Bomb Squad but fmd he's a good player - is someone on that bench honestly better than him in terms of play and/or leadership?

Have always said, he would have been ideal as the senior mentor (only one with international experience) in razors coaching team or as the AB head coach

Only watched the highlights but just saw a tweet, did the Boks really do the midfield lineout with 8 mins to go whilst 11 points behind?! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

They had no answer to Aus getting close on the scoreboard, overtaking rhem on the scoreboard or pulling away from them on the scoreboard.

To our South African fans (the balanced ones), that is a tough loss. But even good teams have off days.

McCaw’s ABs got nuked by England in 2012. It reset them. Boks and their supporters needed that I feel. They will bounce back.

Sean Maloney sounding like he's ejaculating.

Big Seanny is an absolute top bloke and an absolute Rugby nuffy.

He's played various levels in Sydney and knows the landscape here very well - the good, bad, and ugly.

He's a champion for the game here and his love of the game is unparalleled.

Lots of people dont like his commentary style but i love it. He brings such passion to the game and his style is far more enjoyable than listening to a bland comments man

To our South African fans (the balanced ones), that is a tough loss. But even good teams have off days.

McCaw’s ABs got nuked by England in 2012. It reset them. Boks and their supporters needed that I feel. They will bounce back.

2012 we had norovirus running through the camp.

If you ever had norovirous its debiliatating

@DaGrubster I know. Still got reamed. Did the ABs a favour as it kept feet on the ground. Sometimes you need a punch in the nose to wake up.

Let's see if Rassie calls back HandrΓ© Pollard for the 1st Five spot. This would give a good indication of the pattern of play for the second game.

@DaGrubster think he's also unfairly painted as one-eyed because pretty much the rest of the commentators from Australia are, when he's just incredibly passionate.
