From what I saw, SA dominated everywhere but the scoreboard
And the lineout
And the ruck
And handling errorsTbh I think they'll revert to Boklodyte and smash shit out of us.
With Slipper and Pietsch out, and probably Wilson as well, time to go large.
Bell
Pollard
Tupou (tho he was useless)
Frost
Skelton
Hooper
McReight (c)
Valetini
White
JOC
Kellaway
Ikitau
Suaalii
Jorgensen
WrightBPA, Ross, Nonggor, LSL, Gleeson, McDermott, Edmed, Daugunu

The Boks have to revert to type, they just don't have a skillful enough 9/10 combo to pull off anything else. Going to be an interesting match, when the Boks revert to type they tend to grind teams into the ground, rather than build a big lead. Aus will be working off turnover ball, a couple of pieces of magic could keep things very close there.

I reckon Rassie will double down, they'll definitely try and correct the mistake of going too wide too early and will try and commit the aussies around the ruck but i reckon he's too stubborn to change their 'new total rugby' style
If they'd been a little more restrained they would have probably won the game

I thought i read something recently about Rassie wanting to reinvent their game for the next cycle - not wanting to stay the same - I don't think one loss will throw him off course as it is somewhat inevitable that this kind of change goes too far on some occassions. I expect them to tighten up around the breakdown a bit and hit the one out to commit defenders, then go wide.
Whenever i type something like that it always feels like the most obvious statement in the world and what every team is trying to do...

After the game I got a txt from the missus that the "spring bogs" had been beaten by the Wallabies.
Had a little chuckle... -

You could be talking about the ABs......
Winning the collision before spinning it wide, where have I heard that....

@NTA mate I only watched the second half an dthe tail end of the first. It looked like the Aus scrum was wrecked and the lineout suffered ... looks like Aus stole their share of the ball (well done!)
I thought Tupou negated NchΓ© well. Louw seemed on top on TH side, but only a couple of poor Oz scrums, one with Slips and one with Bell.
Frost is becoming world leading and was a real pest at 5 against tall Boks lineout.
Oz maul defence exemplary.

This
Doesn't need to change the 'new style', players just need to be patient and focused
If they had done that last weekend it could have been close to 42-0 up and out of sight
If SA improve their accuracy once they've created the space then look out Oz

But what about the Bok biltong "aura"? Seeped away on the weekend!
On another note, I read an interesting thought that maybe playing at attitude is not such a great home advantage these days as some of their players are now almost as often foreign/overseas as the actual foreign/overseas players...

Having seen Bok team Iβd swap Ross and Bell. Also some argument for 6 - 2 to allow Tinzanno to come off bench.

Christ sake Nick, is there genuinely a Wallaby game you haven't tipped the opposition by 50? Getting tiresome.
We have as good a chance in this as any. We have belief, and the feeling we're playing with house money now.
And I don't know how you can think the loss of Kolisi, Esterhuizen and the benching of Etzebeth is a good thing for the Boks. To me this is a lesser version of their side last week. Which doesn't mean they will lose, but the idea we will get flogged is mindlessly pessimistic.
