Great game , I found myself supporting the wallabies even though I think a 1-1 result is the best thing for the ABs .

Geez that was a good bloody test. Wallabies certainly a team that is playing some good rugby, and Boks still looking pretty hard. Really enjoyable, recorded it , got up 6.30 just watched it great lead into Puma's/AB test. I do love this time of year.

Yeah, hard to judge the boks. Clearly wallabies are one of the form teams in world rugby.

Was expecting more from the boks today.

Kinda reminds me of 2018, when the boks beat us in Wellington. There was lots of talk about putting things right etc but we got hammered for most of the match, i think we only won about 13 rucks in the first half of that match.

We ended up winning (2 late tries - last by Ardie) but it felt undeserved and it was then that i realised we were probably not going to win RWC19.

Similar feeling with the boks over these 2 matches

Expected the Boks to give Oz a real mullering after last week but really impressed with the Oz performance.

Either the Boks are weak or the Bledisloe will be in serious danger this year.

Bledisloe is going to be epic.

With a win in SA, and playing Argentina at home (very realistic 2 wins - this will be the real indicator, if they can put the Argies away).
The Wallabies could walk away with both Rugby Championship and the Bledisloe.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the wallabies value the bledisloe above the rugby championship and throw everything at that .

And then with the boks supposedly wanting the eden park record , we have some tough matches ahead for certain.

Pretty happy with that from the Wallabies. Looked with 10 to go like we might pinch it, which would have been just amazing considering our injury toll.

Forwards played with so much heart. Our tactic seemed to be 'try and beat them up close to the ruck', which against the Boks in SA seems like a death wish. But jeez did it almost work! Valetini, Skelton, Hooper, Tupou all great shifts in the tight stuff.

Would have loved to pinch the win but it was still a good watch, great physical rugby from both teams.

During the week Rassie made a sly dig about the Wallabies playing "a style that I don't think will win the next world cup".

Particularly funny given he went back to a style that won him the last 2, in order to save face at home.

Anyway saw the highlights. Pitch looked like shit. Bit of chaos ball from both sides return kicking being the mainstay

The over use of the midfield bomb was well and truely back.

The JOC missed kick was a critical turning point I thought.

Overall a decent game and Pollard made a big difference for the Boks. The forward were pretty even.

@NTA Mate did you watched the two WCs. Two totally different oppositions and play style.

    Did you watch them?

Big tight five forwards with limited fitness and kick for the sky. That's the plan. It worked and good on them.

    Watching back now.

Firrst scrum penalty was a joke. Ox drops his bind and turned in, driving up to try and make it look like Tupou was under pressure. No forward momentum from the Boks.

    Doleman gamed. Big time.

@NTA you should watch the quarter-final against France Boet. If that was an unfit team, you must be dreaming.

Blaming the ref after a loss is so Aussie. Move on, your team played some great rugby and deserve more then blaming the ref.

@OomPB Nche and Mbongi in particular can't go more than a few minutes of continuous play without faking an injury.

You can argue with the facts, but you'd be wrong.

    🤣

It is so VERY South African to jump in and make that sort of comment when I've talked about literally one decision early in the game.

I'm certainly not about to go making a 40 minute video ranting about how my country is the victim of decisions and implying racism is the root cause

@NTA agree on Bongi and Eben, they didn't played much rugby all season for the Sharks. Our Japan lot also were rusty. But they will catch up. The All Blacks surely will give them an extra leg like usual. It will be make or break for them.

Noticeable in the Bok defence early is the role Pollard plays on edge defence - does a lot of organising.
