Waikato v Southland (RS)
-
I thought Eti might have been rested/benched as he has played the full 80 mins in both games since debuting.
Waikato never lists who is injured or rotated, i.e., Brown and Sullivan in this instance. Hopefully a decent crowd turns up as it is a double-header.

Yeah, we had it overnight down in Wellington. Paired with the rain was pretty immense.

Cheap dog shot from Finau. Peni every right to be pissed off. Finau really starting to get a reputation
Brave of him to go after someone a similar size. He normally likes to focus his cheap shots on 85 - 90kg 10s.

Faletoi Peni is a classy a rugby player i could see the quality of this player when i covered the Auckland club rugby scene back in 2022 when he was the best midfielder bar none
He was that good Manukau Rovers dont win back to back titles if hes not at that club
Has the most instictive rugby brain that only the best players have -

Is it that he doesn't have a typical frame for a 12, perceived training issues, or speed? Or a little bit of all of those as well as the desire to push forward with the next in-line NZ U20s rep?
There must be a few fuys like him running around in Auckland
