Backpacking around South America back in the day - it was VERY fucking noticable... Chile - everybody rather plain... literally got off the bus, crossed the border, holy shit - every single person rather decent looking.
Not gay - but even I could tell the guys were attractive. The females of the species... holy mother of god. What a country.
