Fusitu'a and Tele'a back from injury. Fusitu'a makes a huge difference because of the number of injuries at prop

Arscott starting and Funaki sniping at the end worked well last week

Both sides scoring soft tries in that half

Auckland half asleep defending the fringes of the ruck

Che Clark playing well yet again. Norrie needs to be more pragmatic at the back

Great try Segner off the back of the scrum

Auckland has had a very good second half so far

    50 up for Auckland

Segner with a brilliant lineout steal. Him and Clark have been very good

Funaki has made a huge impact off the bench

Really pleasing to see Che Clark show consistency. Backed up last week with another big effort.

Simpson has a long way to go but there are aspects of his game which are really exciting - he has a genuine big boot and looks to have a good rugby brain to go with good hands.

Doesn't seem to get rattled when things go wrong too

Norrie looked promising at fullback. He took some low percentage options early but got better and better.

Good to see Taele get back in form after having a rough few weeks

I’m not sure if I am missing anything but why is Brett Cameron not goal kicking for Manawatu? I thought I remembered him being a good goal kicker

Manawatu have a great backline (not you Laumape, thanks for the try). Their halfback in particular has great mongrel.

Missed the game, but the highlights were action packed.

I expect the centre, Kyle Brown, to get a SR contract. He makes some good decisions

Conditions were tough in this game. Auckland played into the strong wind and had the dipping sun in their face. Manawatu had to put up with that in the second half

Some very good goalkicking from Taele given the conditions
