SF: Canterbury v Hawkes Bay

This Game will be interesting, backing the Bay just think back to earlier this year when I heard Fakatava had declined a French top 14 gig, he's a loyal man to his teams and I think It would be bloody cool If he was to play an npc final at his other home Forsyth barr

Nick Grigg out with a fractured cheekbone new midfield for the magpies with Le Roux Malan out with a similar injury
Looks a very disappointing crowd -

No matter how this Npc plays out Tom Christie is lock for player of the season
-
HB need to take their opportunity’s when they are given them, especially against this Canterbury defence.
Fakatava and McClutchie need to be more accurate.
Flanders has been strong to start.

Shame he just ruled himself out for higher honours.
-
Another opportunity gone burger.
-
Nice chip and chase by Flanders. There was space in behind with the Cantab defence caught out for numbers.
-
Punivai didn’t have great body position. Too upright.

Fihaki could have actually put the foot down and since he didn't do that, at the very least could have dived at the ball and put his body on the line.
-
Cantab ruck work has been strong. Christie has been leading the charge in those attacking rucks. Chapman getting very clean ball.
-
Punivai that was dumb.
-
15-7 to the Good Guys

McLeod with the hospital pass to Ennor.
