All Blacks XV v Uruguay

45-21 was final score to all black xv over Uruguay
-
Sod the thought experiment about whether a tree that falls in the middle of the night and whether anyone can be certain it made a sound.
If the All Blacks XV play a match and there is bugger all about it on social media or the internet apart from a Uruguayan feed on X that doesn't mention the name of the NZ scorers, can we be certain that NZR could organise a piss up in a brewery?

I've found a review of the game in French.

Autumn Tour 2025 ā In a packed Stade RaoulāBarriĆØre, the All Blacks XV delight against Uruguay
By RƩmy Rugiero
The All Blacks XV and Uruguay faced off in BĆ©ziers at Stade RaoulāBarriĆØre in a friendly match. While the NewāÆZealand development side entertained the large crowd by scoring seven tries overall (winning 45ā21), the āTerosā (Uruguay) showed real courage, staying competitive for a long time. ļæ¼
Rugby was truly celebrated at Stade RaoulāBarriĆØre for this international friendly. Some 16,284 people came out, curious and thrilled to see the game. ļæ¼
The day began nicely, with an opening match earlier in the afternoon between the BĆ©ziers and Narbonne womenās teams (which BĆ©ziers won 19ā18), part of a full day of rugby organised by the ASBH association. ļæ¼
Under the sun in Béziers, after a stirring Haka from the All Blacks XV, the game began at a fast pace. The referee was Frenchman Kévin Bralley.
⢠Early on (4th minute), RatumaitavukiāKneepkens went over for the first All Blacks XV try. ļæ¼
⢠Uruguay responded with a strong forwardsā push: Etcheverry scored after a drive from his pack (16th minute). ļæ¼
⢠Fakatava sparked a revival for NewāÆZealand, building up play around Rivez Reihana to go ahead (12ā7, 28ā²). ļæ¼
⢠Uruguay didnāt give up: Cotarmanacāh delivered a clever pass to Alonso, who scored between the posts (12ā14, 31ā²). ļæ¼
⢠Just before half-time, Nanai-Seturo (wing) used his power to break through Uruguayās defence and score (19ā14, 33ā²). ļæ¼
⢠Shortly before the break, the Uruguayan flanker Biachi was yellow-carded for repeated offenses (39ā²), stopping the Blacks from finishing strongly before half-time. ļæ¼In the second half:
⢠Uruguay continued to show spirit: after a Black XV mistake, their forwards set up a move and Deus scored (26ā21, 56ā²). ļæ¼
⢠Then Ennor (All Blacks XV) made a brilliant run to beat the final defender and score (33ā21, 63ā²). ļæ¼
⢠Rona increased the lead with a burst from near halfway (38ā21, 72ā²). ļæ¼
⢠And finally, RatumaitavukiāKneepkens grabbed his second try for the XV to seal the result (45ā21, 75ā²). ļæ¼A celebration of rugby
⢠This match was initially supposed to be held in Montpellier, but a dispute over the pitch at Septeo Stadium forced a relocation to Béziers.
⢠Mohed Altrad (who is involved both with Montpellier and NewāÆZealand rugby) expressed his gratitude to BĆ©ziers and their community for pulling this off with little time. ļæ¼
⢠Eric Freitas, head of ASBHās association organising the match, said it was a āgreat momentā for the club and for everyone involved. He highlighted how the day included activities from midday ā not just the main match, but also entertainment, a womenās game, and more ā making it a real rugby festival. -

Amazing we won given they have god on their side (and scoring freely!)
Also, we won with a French ref! Incroyable!Looking forward to more games against Uruguay, that team has some fantastic names.

I'm going to say this again, isn't Rona worth trying out at 13? Solid perhaps, but isn't that a good thing for a 13 in our current predicament?

Anyone know anything about this game apart from the final score? Like who scored the tries?
It's not even on NZR+, how the fuck did NZR organise this game and not at least have the broadcast included for their own app.
The one asterisk with my comment is that the app is so badly organised it makes Amazon Prime look well organised, so there's an outside chance the highlights are there and I can't find them.

Because they know these guys can play their heart out and only get picked for the ABs due to injury?

I found the dodgiest of live feeds from quite literally someone on their phone. It cut out more times than a Saffa forward getting treatment from a trainer.
From what I did see, the back 3 played alright. Rivez looked pretty good. Overall the game resembled a good quality super rugby match more than anything.
I havenāt really followed the non-playing news around this tour, but wasnāt there an issue here about the relocation of this match? Not sure if that impacted on getting crew etc to broadcast properly.

This must be the expertise we're paying Silverlake for.

Yes, moved from Montpellier to BƩziers, which is nearby. The FFR must have been in charge of the game as they appointed the ref, and I assume would have been responsible for any broadcast.

Isnāt this the exact game for the NZR+ app?
