France 13 has butchered some opportunities

He should've gone the sideline and his winger cut back in behind him.

Fuck it's nice seeing a team use their backs out wide.

PoTM voting and for me it's down to two Frenchmen: Guillard and Jalibert. But I'd go the forward given his work has given Jalibert the room and opportunity to make his backline look good.

That should have been a YC

Do you have a bet on a YC or something?

One arm on the floor is not a tackle

We need some wheels in the Allblacks backline pronto.

It's not just wheels. Skill level leaves ABs backs for dead.

And a 10 that takes the defence on at every opportunity.

Great finish from France. Scoreline better reflects the game now

Scoreboard says 20 points, but France were orders of magnitude better than Ireland tonight.

Good game to watch to start the 6N. Reasonably well ref'd too - hopefully a marker for the rest of the comp.

Just love the ball movement - holding the ball, taking the line on, passing…what the ABs used to do before we thought rugby was a game you played by giving the ball back to the opposition.

France at full strength would beat us right now very comfortably in NZ.

They have a 10 who actually takes on the line and doesn't kick the ball away for the hell of it. Their speed and skillset is so much better.

Ireland were better in the 2nd half but I think they're in for a rough period over the next 12-24 months.

Good performance by France, I thought Irish looked a lot of times like they were not on same page. I think when you watch French backline who went well, they were made to look even better by a confused looking Irish mob.
Good to see the 6Ns underway anyway!

Prendergast looks like Temu Sexton - apart from the diving, crying and indignation. He's got that down pat.

For a tall, lanky player he looks unco running. Very short strides for someone with long legs.

I was surprised the TMO didn't look at the first Irish try. They had a penalty for the no-arms tackle but it looked like a knock on from that tackle.

France looked like a team that was playing with no inhibitions what so ever ,full of confidence and backing their skill and Du Pont is the maestro who does the right thing at the right time
Ireland looked bewildered in the first half and sadly the game plan looked so 2022
Reminded me of the ABs team post 2015-2019

It's amazing talent that the Walrus has to be wrong about absolutely everything to do with rugby.

@sparky didn't catch the whole game but I thought it was pretty nifty thinking for the adverts. Great way to please everyone, in the half our I watched I didn't miss any of the 18 scrum resets.
