    Just watched the highlights

We are where we are but we certainly don’t need to be gifting tries like Beard did

And is it me or is Hawkins like a cart horse?

I'm losing patience with Jonathan Davies.

Just watched the 2nd half. Must be tough to be a Wales supporter right now. They do so much right and then fuck up at exactly the wrong time. Hope Tandy can get the pieces of the jigsaw together as I'm a closet Wales supporter.

Oh, and Wainright is an absolute beast who never gives up. Love to have him in the AB's

@Victor-Meldrew It never ceases to amaze me when Wainwright is not selected, which has happened far too often. He really ought to be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Another tough day for Wales but a marked improvement from the England game I feel. Discipline was certainly much better and it looked like the attitude had taken a step up too. Some good defensive work certainly but then some crass decision making or skillset errors undo everything.

As for Beard - I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

          Laugh I think.

The Welsh loosehead prop, Carre, borrows over just as it looked like France were going to run away with it. 7-19 to the visitors.

Fast, fun game under the roof so far.

@sparky when forwards are doing brainless shit like that or chip kicking from inside their 22, you're never going to win.

I thought James Doleman had a good game with the whistle. NZ's best ref by some distance at the moment.

I'd go so far as to say Australasia's best ref by a country mile!

@MiketheSnow the whole three-quarter line is pretty pedestrian tbh.
They should experiment with LRZ at 13. We don't have many quicker centre options there unless they give Hennessy a run out.

James was not bad, IMO. Actually, I think Wales have a few players who are not that bad : Carre, Lake, Morgan (of course), Wainwright and LRZ. They could reconstruct a team around these men and their youngsters from the U20. But this will take 2 or 3 years.
