The RC has destroyed this one for the Blues but I think they showed enough that they could win most of their non NZ games and pick up a couple of wins within. Trouble is that the format won't pay that effort.

It's unfair to single out a back in this game, but Collins doesn't look like he's going to beat any defenders this season.

Set piece was horrendous though. Could struggle against some African teams and the well organised Australian teams.

Apart from the Chiefs getting the points, this game has become quite meaningless because of that red card. Looking at the impact of the Blues' bench, there's no way of knowing who would have won without that RC.

Blues will hopefully be a different side once all the All Blacks start. Not sold on Collins as yet.
