happened constantly. Whenever Hooper makes a tackle, he stands up on the wrong side of the ruck and just lingers in the halfback's way, he does it a lot more obviously than McCaw ever did.

There are no entry guidelines for this type of thing. Sanction is at the discretion of the judiciary.
Didn't Lomu get a week off years ago for a two yellow = red?

But a double yellow? Not sure that gets anything unless foul play was involved. EDIT: Or its your second and third cards for the year

Yes, this is from the WR Handbook:

Looking at the type offences from BB, there was no dangerous play and they were relatively minor (no where near a red card offence), so my guess is that he'll either get a warning or a one week suspension.

Except that spear tackles weren't a big deal pre that Irish guy that nearly died and there would have been mitigation that it was Nathan Grey on the receiving end.
