Sunwolves pull off a one point win. 21 - 20.

Obviously not enough coloureds in the Bulls. A few more being added should sort that out ....

Sunwolves should ditch Singapore as a home venue and play all home games in Japan. Tokyo is the only place they've won so far.

Wouldn't mind seeing them have the odd game in a place like Osaka, Nagoya or Fukuoka and would be good to expand the fan base a bit.

Lot of enthusiasm in that crowd!

Smaller venue but the crowd looked awesome. I guess one benefit of there being too many teams in Oz and SA is that the Sunwolves actually have a fighting chance which could lead to a growth in support as opposed to the 20+ point thrashings I would expect from kiwi teams

Have been to many top league games at Chichibunomiya and a few internationals as well. Also caught some of the 2009 U20 world cup, although not the final as I had scheduled to go to South Korea.

Not a bad ground really and for the top league games they'd let you bring your own beer in as well. Rugby is the only sport played there so you are quite close to the action

Problem with it though is a lot of rugby gets played on it (top league double header) , university games and so on. As a consequence the ground tends to be in very bad condition towards the end of the season, particularly during the colder months of the year.

Bulls probably win this if Pollard and Kriel weren't forced to rest, but they probably backed themselves to win without them.

Did I see a Sunwolves' fan cry at the end of the game?
