Pushing Tin - Paekakboyz Training Log
-
Yeah that could have been it mate - reckon it's worth giving each a decent run to get a better sense of effect. It definitely gave me a mad buzz though - now I know what you meant about stim! I just wanted to shift some tin!!
-
jeez, hope you guys checked the ingredients of that Rage stuff properly <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Just ruined myself ripping up cork tiles in the hallway. Had stripped carpet and underlay last weekend. Picked up a tile lifter (steel pole with a flat plate at the bottom of it) to rip up the tiles. Thought 'fuck it' and got stuck in tonight rather than waiting for the weekend proper. Nek minnit I've smashed out most of it in a couple of hours. Then I broke the bloody tile lifter with about 5% of the tiles to rip up ffs! RIP, and it was less than 4 hours old lol. Too much power for the shitty thing I reckon ha ha.<br />
<br />
I wasn't even wearing my hulk tshirt either!!<br />
<br />
Gym on sunday - back session. Arrrr -
Only if they pay for all the work!!

Serves you right for saying Nek Minnit....no one says that anymore <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eusa_whistle.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistle:' /> <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fishing:' /> -
I know! we're on your next favourite bandwagon now Gagnam style!!

Tried the final pre-workout powder today - it was good for pump, but I didn't feel much stim. I'm going to pick up some Jacked and give that a go for a couple of weeks. I'm not too bad on workout intensity so the strength/endurance boost is really good. <br />
<br />
Rolled out - snuck out of work early so the legs and lower back got a working over. PAIN! but all for a good cause!<br />
Front squats - have been going pretty easy on these while I work on flexibility (wrist and hip flexor). Today I was feeling good so up went the weight! 640kg, 660kg, 670kg, 660kg, 640kg. Then a cheeky set of back squats at 60kg just to get that burn.<br />
Moved onto thrusters next. Still on 40kg for these puppies. My wrists were a bit sore so I struggled with the transition. Powering up and getting the bar lifting off my chest was ok, got a little bit ragged near the end of each set though - too much thinking about hand/wrist position I think. Sets of 6, 6, 4, 4.<br />
Weighted dips next. Had a 20kg and 25kg dumbbell to hang off the chain belt. 620kg, 625kg, 625kg, 6*20kg. Then an unweighted set till failure. Felt light as a feather but then strength just went. Managed 9 and a half reps.<br />
Super sets of tricep kickbacks (while lying on the ground) and hammer curls. 12.5kg for the triceps and 17.5kg for the hammers. 3 sets of 6 reps.<br />
I was in and out of the gym within 50min or so - pretty happy with how hard I was working.<br />
<br />
Lined up workouts for 4/5 days this week. Including a PT session on Thursday evening, nothing like paying to have your ass kicked!! -
Ahhh, that sounds like a plan. Will take a wander down the road to the supplement shop tomorrow - I will def give all three a decent go (all in the name of science!!). Will rotate through a period of each but I will try test pump and jack3d together as well. That will be a mean ride I reckon. Jack3d def gave me a mad buzz and test pump was pretty good today. Much appreciated JK!!
-
whoops! I meant one at a time - kind of testing each out over a period of time to see how they go. Ha ha I agree all three at once would be overkill!
-
Nah I understood. I just dont rate test pump that highly. Its ok but better stuff out there.<br />
<br />
Also, if you are going to buy rage, pretty much the only place you can get it is at http://www.bodybuilding.co.nz/ as its made by the guys there.<br />
<br />
I've tried most of the pre-workouts available and some do bugger all, some give crazzzzy dreams, and others give mean crashes. Takes a bit of trail and error to find what works best for ya. -
Shotgun seems to have pretty good prices - I will see if I can be cheeky and score some samplers tomorrow at that shop. I want to start working on leaning down rather than bulking up further - like you said it's just trial and error till you find something that works. But I can see this really firing me up on those low motivation days (aka winter!!).

Also try www.dailysupps.co.nz They have some awesome deals. Their stock is limited, but what they do have they are one of the cheapest websites out there (due to that they're still relatively new)<br />
<br />
What Pre work out do you rate the best JK? -
Dailysupps and also nutritiondeal.co.nz are both good but its parallel imported stuff so sometimes older versions or dated stock. Gotta watch their protein (flogging off old myofusion at the mo....has a bad rep for giving the runs!) but their pre-workout deals are usually pretty good.<br />
<br />
<br />
Chubby - I really rate BSN Hyper FX --> http://xplosivsupple...n-hyper-fx.html Tried it a while back when I was going through a bit of a flat spot in terms of finding pre-workouts and found it brilliant. Only issue is that you cant shake this stuff as its foams - strictly stir/swirl only otherwise it gets very messy! That websites pretty good too. Cheap and always throws in a few samples for ya to try out. And free shipping too but thats a given now days.<br />
<br />
Cellucor C4 is pretty good too but i find it a bit muddy if ya know what I mean. Not really a clean energy/focus. -
I've only tried super pump max which I find works well but I want to try something else and allow the body to cycle the max out of the system for a change. I brought some of that discounted protein today from daily supps so will be interesting to see how it goes. I've had my last couple lots through them coz I'm a tight arse but want myofusion and have found it ok. Time will tell
-
I got vanilla. I've previously tried chocolate and strawberry both of which are really nice. I did find the original myofusion was thicker and tastier than the probiotic version. I'm quite keen to try that elite version. I take my protein with balance recovery stack which works really well. And due to its berry flavour should go well with the vanilla
