Not this season.

This blues rubbish can't be all laid at Umagas feet as has been the theme here the last 2 months from hapless blues fans
Discipline, decision making and concerted effort and hunger are players responsibilities too
A dysfunctional club and has been for some time now
He picks the players and sets the culture. They've gotten worse on his watch.
Tana has to go.
@damo Love it when non-Blues fans come on here trying to defend the guy who's well out of his depth. He's been a disaster this season.
-
How much lower can you go ?
Bloody hell
-
Tana will say how proud he is of the effort and can see where they're improving in interview - you heard it here first

Parsons interview is a disgrace.

Yes, the Blues were awful, but I think we need to give credit to the Jaguares as well. They were the better team and played to the conditions well. They fully deserved that win. If they'd converted their penalties into points, they would have denied the Blues the bonus point.

I'm just going to paraphrase Redman from earlier this week:
Progress is being made. The players are 'growing'.
We don't want to make drastic changes and throw out all of that progress.

They're growing in their struggle against reality

If this is his idea of progress then I'd say this is one situation where you absolutely have to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Bloody hell that was excruciating to watch.

@african-monkey No one's defending anyone.
The truth is your shit club has been a fucking disgrace for many years now, long before umaga.
Fans continue to point with veracity always at 1 or 2 individuals as if that magic will fix it.
Highlanders were down a decade ago and pulled themselves out of it through genuine humility and change. The blues just lurch from new supercoach to fingerpointing.
Rinse and repeat
-
Well done to the Blues for getting the losing bonus point. Weather conditions kept them in it.
Pulu’s play seemed a step down from Ruru’s.
Whilst not a great game for wide play, the backline combination for the Blues seemed non-existent. Whereas the Jags backs with limited opportunities did combine well.
Tana is either experimenting or has lost the plot on selections.

Apisai had a stormer for the B team last week!!

Haha said by no one who actually watched that game.

Can all the blame be placed on the Coach? What about the coach before him? Or Before him?
Even if those coaches are all incompetent, why were they placed into the position? Do they simply interview well?
At what point will everyone look to place blame higher up? Surely Auckland have the $$ for a proven coach?
My 2c..
