Considering we have a wing who's one of our highest paid ABs who can't/wont chase kicks at Super level I'd rather we get him in the AB environment and start working on it.

I think Alaimalo's ceiling is higher than Lam's, Lam's was around for a while before finding his 15s attacking form - and he's also prone to defensive lapses as well.
Mataele should play for Fiji.

Wierd game from the Chiefs. Caught out with couple of last minute injury subs which seems to have disrupted their pattern.
Not playing their normal type of game. Taking the points when on offer (not a bad thing) but seem to be shy on attack. The flair and exubereance kept in check so far tonight.
However a big tick is the scrums, wierdly enough, the last two they have beasted the Jags which is surprising given the Jags of last week, but very pleasing - and a welcome sight.
Anyway 12-10 at the break is good.
