You can’t exclude the Blues from NZ just yet, that crazy politician lady still needs enough signatures for her referendum before the North Shore becomes its own country.
Dunno what’ll happen with Auckland when that happens - Chiefs might take pity on them perhaps?

Very average first 35 minutes; the Highlanders stepped up in the 2nd half. The Canes didn't.

Jordie Barrett at least has brains, nothing to be gained from another try to canes, but could allow landers to draw level on points with a bonus. Landers were awesome second half and improved, canes woeful and got worse. Basics and composure utter tripe

If an independent Auckland joins the Australian Commonwealth, maybe we'd have a bit of competition for the Bledisloe. TV ratings improve. Good for everyone.

With a 58% line out success, and being awful last week, not taking the three is pretty stupid from our pommy captain

Landers the better team by miles. Canes pack beaten up two games in a row, and backs unable to bail them out against an organised defense.

Biggest positive for me from that game is the Smith brothers showing some good form leading into the tests.

The break has come at a good time for the Canes. Let them stew on that for a couple of weeks then come out firing.

Bring on the ABs.
