I don't think it's an issue he's getting "flogged" - I think he's the type of player who goes better the more minutes he plays.
Hansen's got to give him a test by the end of the year though, nuts if he doesn't.

By the time he gives Taufua a run, he’s probably already well exceeded his handing out new caps quota for the year.

Scratchy game but nice to see a win.
Gibson strong first game back, Akira an absolute monster. Nanai looked useful.
Duffie and Collins were poor.
Blues maul defence poor as usual - worst scrum performance of the year.
Clarke is a bit raw but you can see the potential. Just needs more time in the saddle.
Moulds handy around the field but poor at set piece.
Would like to see more of Pierce. Less of Taramai.

Probably the most consistently bad ref performance i have ever seen. How long until he is fucking up international rugby?Blues are fucked if the Ioanes leave. It might be a good time to strip them of their ABs and create a second division of not so super rugby.
AB's coaches have rocks in their heads if they can't see that Akira is the second best 8 in NZ.
Duffie looks like he has given up. Maybe he has realised his AB career is toast.
