There was some great quality. Some rubbish too, but some very good play in first half.

ALB and Messam showed class. ALB especially was working hard on getting his hands past the tackle to set those outside him free. Just the kind of distribution that cracks defences.

Messam looks like he would still do a proud 60 minutes in black. So much better than Luke of the Whitelocks.
