Don't think relative scales are much help to a fat bastard

EVERYTHING is 20!!
except, you know, your cock...
-
Antipodean's patented five step scale:
- Can I engage in conversation?
- Can I utter sentences?
- Can I utter words?
- Can I motion for an ambulance?
- Dead.
-
The side effects of the drugs have hit me, with the insomnia and some mild (probably related) paranoia/depression popping up. Makes work and family life a bit shitty when I'm slightly manic all the time.
I'm going back to the doc today to tell him this stuff really isn't necessary as, thanks to my reformed eating and exercise, I'm going to be awesome.

Took the day off work to deal with this shit, and decided to go for a run - being conscious that I'm not putting a lot of recovery days in here, but stiff shit.
3km in 17:45 which reaches my first goal of 6 minute km or better. Booyah.
Also had a sneaky jump on the scales and the result is good. More when I officially weigh in on Saturday!

Dont stress about recovery days. You're not training for a tilt at the next olympics. You can safely run 5 - 10 K every day at a comfortable pace and your body will adapt fine.
Keep it up!

Don't kill yourself - it's volume which acts as a basis for everything.

Good video. Applicable for a number of disciplines.
I think it was Bruce Lee who said "I'd rather face a man who practised 10,000 punches 1 time, than a man who practiced 1 punch 10,000 times"

Was awake since 4:30 so once it hit 6 I went for a run. Vision issue came back (fuck!) after ten minutes, so maybe not all is rosy there. But yesterday I hydrated beforehand so maybe that's it?
Weigh in this morning.
@nta said in Back for more!:
Today: 101.6kg - Chest 118cm - Waist 111cm - Hips 112cm
Today: 100.2kg - Chest 117 - Waist 110 - Hips 112.
So another 1.4kg gone along with a couple of cm.
Feel like I could take a fairly decent shit, too, so maybe even under 100?

Fucking stoked.

Today: 99.4kg - Chest 116 - Waist 109 - Hips 111.
Well I'm happy with that. Under the ton for a first time in... well a long fucking time.
Losing another 800g over a week is still pushing hard. 4kg over 3 weeks probably isn't anywhere near what you'd call drastic, I suppose, and nearly half that happened during Week 1 where you lose the "water weight".
If I could keep up with half a kilo a week from here, I'll be just over 95 by 1st September. And probably telling the doctor to shove his meds.

So this week's exercise plan :
Monday: 5km run early
Tuesday: Pilates
Wednesday: 5km run early
Thursday: Body weight sets
Friday: 5km run early
Saturday: 5km run early followed by weigh in
Sunday: Mrs TA is going to see a musical with her mates, so I'm in charge of the kids. Might take them bushwalking and then wait for her to get home, half-drunk and toey. She's the best apparatus I've found! -

@mn5 yeah. Basic mat Pilates as a gentle introduction. No doubt I'll be sore by the end.
Probably not as bad as you'd think to be honest but you'll definitely feel it in muscles you never knew you had.
