Jesus it's 3 rounds in people. The Chiefs have looked cake the last couple of games, the sky isn't falling.
Crusaders looking nigh on unstoppable.
Hurricanes looking very good.
Highlanders rebuilding nicely.
Blues looking better.
Just who have the Chiefs lost in the off-season that would have changed things?
Maori Jesus, for starters.
And, Messam.
So two of the older, wiser, and classier heads in the team.

But, actually, your point stands, because those of us who looked at the recruiting were pissed off because the team this year looked worse than last year.

@Stargazer Agree but they were horrible against the Crusaders. But we were dominating last year except for the Blues and this year not even close.

So after 5 weeks of Super rugby last season
Landers 3-0
Saders 2-2
Blues 1-3
Chiefs 2-1
Canes 2-1 -
One of the worst results by a NZ Super team I can remember. No wonder Guzzler has spent most of the off season looking for a new team.

WTF Chiefs. This was worse than last week. So many errors. MacDonald has already got the Blues off the bottom of the table without having to do anything. -

Far too many NPC level players in that Chiefs line up. The Sunwolves' NPC level Kiwis looked a cut above on paper and so it proved.
Someone listed the players the Chiefs are missing and I thought, "Is that it?!" You're in for a tough season Chiefs fans. Rennie was the master at getting the most out of guys who weren't quite at Super Rugby level and simply making do, but Cooper isn't gonna make that happen.

Didnt watch the game but listened to the radio commentary by Yealden.
He used the word bumbling a few times...
If I was Cooper I'd have held BBBR off until the 2nd half, that way hed of watched all the shit and gone out a fired everyone up, instead he just got caught up, had to go off at halftime and...
Is amusing reading back through these game threads though...

@jegga hard out! Look what Nepia and Crucial have turned the Chiefs into. I'm not sure any fan base would want to be burdened with that.
You gotta feel for the true fans though. Must be hard to watch. I fully expect the Chiefs to get up for the derbies though.
