Yeah that is a strange call from the Blues - the scrum is getting mullered so the likelihood is low of your maul doing any better

IIRC, the questions should be:

• did he go over the horizontal; if yes,
• did the tackler try to bring down the player safely; if no,
• where did the player land (back = yellow; head/neck = red)

I don't think it's about driving a player onto the ground as the commentators said.

But I may be wrong ...

@Stargazer yeah but it so often doesn't follow that, so I give up trying to guess, just go OK when the call is made

@Stargazer yeah appreciate all that, but the way this game is played, it isnt always that straight forward...not to mention the way they seem to change thier minds
