Well protein is for muscles generally Milk, as well as being an energy source, so it couldn't hurt.

I was talking to some guy at the gym who rated fat mobilisers or something similar. Said it was quite good for improving definition.<br />
Any one had any experience with those?

He couldn't remember what it was called, but he said it was herbal (apparently), and helped increase the amount of fat cells you burnt. I think there quite common.

If you go into a health food/vitamin shop they should have something nicknamed "Cuts" which supposedly prevents fat from being digested as well as encouraging your body to metabolise it as the first energy source. I tried it in my youth but didn't notice a difference really, though you may get different results.

Here's some<br />
<br />
http://www.nutritionexpress.co.nz/conte ... 5/3145.htm<br />

Thermo DynamX actually works by increasing your body’s metabolism so you burn more calories. It acts on the receptors that determine metabolic rate and temperature and amps them up so that you not only burn more energy while you exercise, you'll burn fat while you go about your normal day to day activities! It truly is your 'total body transformation solution' and results are guaranteed.

Redbak and Musashi are my favourite.  Only because they taste best and dissolve best in water.  <br />

Agree with NTA about Perfect Protein..mostly drinking clumps of powder with milk.

I tried a sampler the other day for this stuff called WheyGourmet - it tastes fucking awesome but is a bit pricey.

Not really a protein shake and I'm not sure if it's available in NZ or OZ but Nutrilet is what I drink. It's high in protein and low in fat so is perfect for the fatties. Personally I think it tastes good and is excellent to have if I'm feeling peckish.

They will probably have something similar Rancid - can you post up the profile of the drink (protein, fat and carbs per 100g) and manufacturer? Might also be worth listing ingredients if you could....

Just read an article where they're planning to launch it in AUS through a company called Faulding. Not sure if that helps.

Im taking EAS 100% Whey Protein.  Two shakes per day.  One scoop Whey (23 grams protein), 300 mls milk, blended with one banana and a small pot of yoghurt.  Contents of shake equal about 40 grams protein.

Well, they had WheyGourmet on special (for members) at the local GNC Live Well shop, so I bought the Chocolate Mousse flavour - its quite frickin good in milk or water actually so that's what I'm on now. 70% protein and the taste is better than ANYTHING I've ever had in terms of protein shakes.<br />
<br />
But why use containers that big when they're only half-full when you open them?
