    @Tim

    That would be a good reason, but I thought head shots weren’t mitigated that way?

    Brumbies tackling is technically horrible.

    Crusaders keeping the Brumbies in this with uncharacteristic errors. Crotty has been excellent.

    Taufua has been immense the second half. Angry pills given out to the bench?

    Surprised this didn’t blow our earlier with the amount of open play in the first half and yellows.

    That is SO last year 😉

    I'm with you: if you were falling into a tackle it didn't matter, particularly if the tackler was coming in above nipple height anyway.

    I've only see the Franks/Speight incident out the corner of my eye, but you look at that last year and would consider a red card.

    Steamers in the first half, All Blacks in the second.

    Nah. We all know Grant saw a mirror image of himself in young Brett so selected him.

    Forgettable first half, but excellent second.

    Mo'unga definitely the in-form first five at the moment; very good in that 2nd half. Scott Barrett and Crotty also very good again and, apart from two errors, David Havili had another good one, too. Sam Whitelock, Jordan Taufa and Bryn Hall excellent impact from the bench.

    Not good that Owen Franks has shoulder problems again.

    Absolutely dreadful: those high tackles from the Brumbies. There should have been at least another card, but apparently Peyper didn't have the guts to reduce the ponies to 13.
