At no point have I said or even implied he's the reason the Blues are behind on the score board.
Briant and Peyper are much better than Gardner - at least they know the laws.
@antipodean I can supply a phone booth for the number of people who would agree with you..Bryant is about as poor as an official can be especially when it comes to break down..can think back to the Saders v Blues game round 1 where he continued to warn the Saders but failed to dish out out an cards not to mention a deliberate knock down from Manase Matele..no sanctions..
As for Jaco..is about as inconsistent as you can get...!, -

Blues score there at the HT whistle but their spacing and spatial awareness is just not in the Chiefs class
Helps that the Chiefs 12-13-15 axis are quicker in thought and action as a group. The Blues are getting torn there despite the athleticism and nous. Inexperience and the march of time not helping.

As for Jaco..is about as inconsistent as you can get...!,Argumentum ad populum. I recall being quite vociferous in my condemnation of those Briant examples. I'm not suggesting that only Gardner makes errors, so let's leave that straw man there.
