Awesome game from the Chiefs! What a comeback! Handled the conditions so much better than the Crusaders.

Great game from Sowakula, ALB, Cane and a few more.
Only the Crusaders scrum was better, but the Chiefs dominated the game except for the first 20 minutes.

Goodhue and Barrett were good. Mixed bag from Ennor, Havili and Harmon, who showed great skills as well as dumb ball handling. Mo'unga quiet; and Crotty and Read not half as bad as some are saying.

Funnell had a shocker; two years ago he was excellent, but since then he's been out with injury for most of the time and his short stints in-between injuries haven't been good at all.

So good to see Cane back in form, as if he's never been away. Great for the ABs.

Wow. What a comeback. Gotta say, I was having DARK THOUGHTS after the first 20 mins. But the Chiefs really showed some heart and scored some great tries.

    Fuckin beautiful!
I had to go out at 50 minutes and came back to watch the rest.

Still think Cooper is a crap coach?
Still think there should be a cantablack side?

I haven’t read back in the thread but I would have been a bit grumpy if it ended up a clos saders win. That disallowed try should have been a penalty try and YC to Ennor. He was never onside then came in to knock the ball out of the hands.
Why can’t TMOs ever see this stuff? They seem to get tunnel vision when looking at groundings. Also dropping the ball (or having it knocked out of your grasp) doesn’t mean lost forward if it goes straight down or backwards.

One point I forgot to mention is the real importance of players with a big kicking game..the length of both Debreczini and Stephenson were able to get forced the Saders to either run back from deep or put high kicks up to which both Alaimalo and Wainui handled brilliantly..
Something for the Blues to think about when looking at their roster for 2020..given how poorly they deal with red zone exits.

Well, that was a game of two halves - unfortunately our half only lasted 20 minutes.

    Crikey what a game.

Who didn't think the Saders were winning that even at 27-33?

As Blues supporter I will take solace of the fact they have given the Crusaders best contest from local point of view..
Should have won in round 1 ,and despite not looking like they would win the 2nd game at least the kept the Saders to one try.

    Hindsight.

    Not mocking.

Had this as an easy BP win for the Dark Side.

But it's quite funny looking back ...

If Hansen still picks TTT instead of Weber then he’s even more stubborn than he looks.

    Yeeeah ... nah...

TTT looked sharp when he was on.

I saw that coming, how dumb was that? Mo'unga moron

Mounga didn't do a hell of a lot tonight did he, Debreczeni (spelling) was the better 10. Shows that RM isn't the second coming - and makes mistakes.

    Comedy gold, that comment. 😂

    Why?

No one should climb into you for that. Who comes back from twenty nil down against the crusaders? With that team (of previously unknown players now making a name for themselves)
