I think the 0 is just as impressive as the 66..sure it was one sided in the end but you have got admire the clinical way they dismantled the Rebels...gonna take some team to beat them on the run home...

A game of "if it could".

If it could go wrong for the Rebels, it did.
If it could go right for the Crusaders, it did.

    Most Crusaders played well, tonight.

Matt Todd was massive again, clearly showing the ABs selectors that he should be in the conversation as well.
Read deserves way more credit than he's getting. That dropped ball was nothing compared to all the things he did right tonight.
Romano showing how valuable he still is.
Barrett and Whitelock solid; Makalio very good (apart from one bad line-out throw).

In the backs, Mo'unga brilliant as usual; Hall good; Ennor and Reece great on the wing; Crotty great. And David Havili showing he should be in the ABs conversation as well.

Rebels very disappointing. They do have good players, but nothing seemed to work tonight. Agree with whoever said that people should stop booing Cooper; it's getting old and boring.

Crusaders have secured that top spot on the table; they only needed one point, and got 5.

    Now the bye ...

David Havili: 2 tries, 17 runs, 188 running metres, 2 clean breaks, 6 defenders beaten, 2 offloads

    Impressive.

Nice work, Razor - needs to be a bit careful with the bye week, that can work against you, but taking plenty of momentum into it.

Probably have to do without my skilful oversight for the next couple, so I hope he's ready for the training wheels to come off! 🙂

Any handle on who might be heading to Christchurch? Or too congested to tell yet?

    That's your answer for now.

    @nzzp I'm guessing the Chiefs - but it's largely a guess.

I agree. Great to keep a clean sheet.

Almost as good as 96-19. That was against the Tahs so had an extra amount of sweetness.....

Not quite. If that were the case Read would have been on the score sheet and Ennor would have had four. It would have been 80-0.

A quick bit of analysis this morning. The crucial first tiebreaker is the team with the most wins - which hurts those with lots of draws - especially the Highlanders.

    https://www.superxv.com/super-rugby/super-rugby-rules/

    According to me:
Crusaders, Jaguares, Brumbies and Hurricanes are safely in the eight.

The Bulls are effectively safe - to miss out it will take a combination of them getting thumped by the Lions, the Rebels beating the Chiefs and The Sharks beating the Stormers, but allowing the Stormers a losing bonus point.

The Highlanders, Waratahs, Blues, Reds and Sunwolves are all gone.

So five teams fighting for three spots - and four of them are playing one another.

Simple equation for all of the Lions, Stormers, Rebels and Sharks - you win and you're in.

Lions and Stormers will probably make it with a bonus point loss. They can possibly sneak in without, if results go their way.

Chiefs need to win and likely need a bonus point - or at least to deny the Rebels one and hope the Stormers beat the Sharks. They could potentially miss out on points differential even with a bonus point win if the Sharks win and the Stormers get a bonus point and the Lions get at least a point.

@Chris-B I think the chiefs based on showing some real resolve despite a bucket load of injuries deserve to get in the finals..I think if they had their time again they would love to play the Sunwolves again , a game they may regret.

@Steven-Harris as a Canes fan I hope the Chiefs sneak in and somehow get a result against the Crusaders on their home turf. How far away is big Brodie?
