They might be amatuer players at Heartland level but they deserve better referring calls than that one.

@Steven-Harris They said before the game that both the ref and one of the ARs are from Ireland and Wales (I think). I wonder whether this is some kind of internship for them. Probably rookies at home, too.

Not an awful game to watch. I mistakenly watched the Southland northland match and cringed at the utter shit rugby.

Both these side look more skilful even if Canterbury look to have more of an edge than us.

Entertaining first half. Some really nice passages of play from both teams; some errors on both sides, too.
