We deserve to lose today. We've been extremely poor. Canterbury's defence has been fantastic today.

Who is the morbidly obese prop for Auckland?

Billy Harmon easily man of the match today, showing his class. He'll be fantastic for the Crusaders next year.

Not the Canterbury of the old, but still to good in the set pieces when it mattered ..last scrum pretty much summed it up.

@nzzp Errors really cost us today. Plummer throwing a dumb offload which led to a try before halftime as well as his intercept pass to Harmon, Tusitala kicking the ball out on the full when we had just scored 2 tries in a row which Canterbury scored from, as well as our discipline which was poor. Our set piece also got a bit of a touch up.

Well done Canterbury, the race for 2nd is on! Who knows maybe we could be in a bit of relegation trouble.

Can’t see the Taniwha boys stopping the red and blacks , if I had to chuck in an early bet on , A Canterbury v Ta$man final looks on the cards..
Never thought for a moment that the Cantabs were in relegation trouble even after their 0-3 start.

Canterbury back in business and off the bottom of the table.

Auckland making too mistakes and poor decisions this year.

Did I hear the commentators toward the end all blowing their loads over McKay and giving him three Angus Gardiner Medal points??

    Dammit. I had Canterbury 1-7.

    That's reasonably convincing.

So Ta$man v Canterbury final with Waikato holding the Shield. I can handle that....

The Canterbury team that showed up haven't been sighted so far this season. Auckland were hesitant, sluggish at times and didn't playw ith intensity or physicality for a lot of the game. Frustrating.

We miss Sir Graham's coaching I think, and the variety of kicking we had in the backline. Should still do enough to be top 4, but can't see anyone getting up over Ta$man this year (which is pretty cool for Rugby to be fair).
