The handing has been horrendous from both sides so far.

That ball came out of the scrum, should have been a penalty to northland against Douglas for kicking it back in.
And a bullshit penalty that last one was against Matich, especially when the ref let 2 Canterbury guys fly in off their feet a couple rucks earlier.
Copy and paste from any other Northland thread this season.
Basic mistakes, dropped balls, poor discipline.

Get the ball, hold the ball, win the contact, build pressure.
The small mistakes stop momentum and turn over ball. Starting to lose penalty count as well.
Hope we score early and make a game of this.

J Deb standing flat footed and deep as buggery, passing to a flat footed forward who gets steam rolled by the defence, or a back who fumbles it. Not a good formula to try and attack from.

Whetu Dougas is a very conservative captain haha. Don't know why he doesn't just go to the corners instead of taking these shots at goal.
