@Chris-B He already left All Black great Brett Cameron behind to help Canterbury out. Don't forget Josh "Not Ben Smith" McKay.

Excellent work - I like this nickname, abbreviated to NBS?

Jaysus, losing at home to Manawatu. Hopefully there are enough ambulances, hospital or physic ward beds on standby to cover the anticipated huge influx of casualities amongst the home supporters who can scarcely believe they got toppled by one of NZs lesser ranked (read that as "shite" if you want) teams! Whilst not in the least bit a supporter of Canterbury it still gives me great angst anytime the 'Poo win a game.

Shit result for most people in KP's tipping comp. Did anyone get this right?

        Didn’t bother tipping because I knew we’d lose 😎

We could have finished that game much better. Although we did get the 79th minute try, the turning point in the last ten was Enari's horrific fucking box kick which gifted possession back to Manawatu on our 22 with 8 to go exactly when we needed to pump it deep. The box kick is my absolute pet fucking hate in rugby recently. It's a blight on the game. Fuck all half-backs are good enough at it for it to make a positive difference and yet they all think they can do it, and it should NEVER, EVER be fucking used in your own fucking half. And who passed the ball to a well covered Bateman with zero room to move on the left wing with a couple of minutes to go???? More horribly wasteful play from some bloody dreamer.

Lastly. Cameron needed to drop kick that fucking conversion, and that very last play wasn't a fucken knock on.

Having said all this, we never should have been so bloody far behind in the first instance. Someone needs to sit Maddock down and ask him exactly what he's trying to achieve with his non injury enforced revolving door selections through the first 7 rounds. Find a First Fucking Fifteen and fucking stick with it.

Very perceptive of you! Still being level with all other tippers and you get the option of not picking Canterbury as the highest scorers, nor the 'Poo as the lowest for that matter, so in reality it is now advantage ACTCrusader on the opposition serve!

Really impressed with Brayden Iose. He's had a few high quality games in a row now.

@Dice He was impressive for a young fella. Can he play all three back row positions?

Is Josh McKay the new Michael Collins?

More like a faster Damien McKenzie without the positional smarts.

@shark This season shows us that there is a certain tipping point where having too many players called into the ABs starts hurting, even with Canterbury's depth.

Maddock will be gone, too, after this season. I hoping for Cantab fans that they'll find a better coach.

The problem is not too many ABs missing. It's that the Crusader non-ABs are not Canterbury. They're doing the business for Ta$man this season in the way they used to do it for Canterbury.

How fast is he, he must be a bullet? DMac is quick.
