So a bonus point win here will have Waikato scrape into the top 4?

Just realised this isn't in the matches thread. Hard to watch this game when there's nothing Waikato can do. I kinda expect them to lie down and take a beating.

The bro Kemara knocks the ball on at the base of the ruck.

Fifita hasn't added anything to this Wellington side. Infact I think he's disrupted the good mix that we had at the start of the season.

We really miss Walker-Leawere - he provided all our grunt last year.

@Canes4life He certainly has disrupted the good flow that had you guys getting hammered by Ta$man and not beating Hawkes Bay in the first two matches of the season.

Aumua does his best to stuff it up. I'll be very happily surprised if we win this playing like we are.

F%$k Wellington have no patience when they are five out. Must be about 50 botched chances this year.

@Bones Aso is the man. Him and Goosen the danger men.

Would have been an All Black if it wasn't for injury.

Didn't discarded Pom Brad Shields name also come out of Steve Hansen's mouth at one stage as well?

Yeah. Also, we'll never see Cane and Savea starting. Etc, etc.

That was after Shields went to England though. I specifically remember Hansen said he would have picked Aso if he wasn't injured. I think it was 2017 when Laumape & Aso were tearing it up at will. I think Laumape was selected instead, but Hansen preferred Aso with his ability to cover wing aswell.

And just as I say that, Aso is starting to show that form again after being mostly injured for the last two seasons.

@Bones My point exactly. You must take a lot of things that Steve Hansen says with a grain of salt. It is a matter of sorting out the wheat from the chaff I guess!
