Congratulations to the Steamers, you have got to give it to their defence ..the Magpies will regret not taking their chances ..,but what a gutsy performance from the visitors given they played out 100 minutes last week and listening to many of the pundits who were telling us there would be 30 points in this game

Terrible terrible game of rugby.I think Hawkes Bay needs to invest in a couple of speedy outside backs,too forward oriented, imo.

Small consolation that it is but HB the only team able to score a try in what was a very ordinary match where chances were few and far between an what there was were invariably stuffed up by mistakes or simply poor play or option taking.
Sums up a the game well, though I’m still claiming the points scored in the game for Dan Hollinshead - 12 points off the boot and a try assist
