Hammett to test positive for the Rona on Sunday morning and bring the whole competition to a halt.

He's all about developing culture. Just on this occasion, it'll be a virus in a petri dish.

You realise viruses can't reproduce by themselves so wouldn't develop a culture in a petri dish ... ?

      Oh ...

One of the things Gatland has introduced are short and intense trainings. Quality not quantity.

I read that Cane has now been ruled out so the loose forward trio looks to be Jacobson, Boshier and Sowakula.

Kinda thought we did that in the 80s under John Hart and Jim Blair.

@Stargazer feel sorry for a any Chiefs fans in the zoo. Did it couple of times when I was living in Duns and fuck me they're pretty brutal. Didn't help that the Chiefs didn't win.

@Yeetyaah The majority of the students in the zoo wouldn't be from Highlanders country anyway so they could still support their "home" team.

@Bovidae for sure but didn't stop the freshers from Auckland who have never watched a game in their life screaming and spitting on you. I remember the 2017 Landers vs Chiefs round 1 game I didn't go to the zoo and the Chiefs won the game and a bunch of freshers with their GoPro were trying to tilt me by shoving their camera in my face saying "Ah fuck the chiefs you fuckwit." Was even funnier coz the Landers just lost, didn't even score a try.

The Gallagher Chiefs will run out in their limited edition Women in Rugby jersey on Saturday night when they face the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

I was hoping to see the away strip (light blue) for the first time.

@mariner4life The Chiefs were meant to wear this jersey ONCE for the home match against the Bulls so this game is obviously the substitute for that cancelled game. The only opportunity to wear the official away jersey would be the Blues game as there is no other colour clash.

The jersey will be worn to acknowledge the thousands of females who play and/or support rugby in the Chiefs region.

Each jersey from the playing twenty-three will be signed and donated to twenty-three different schools within the Chiefs Region to help raise funds for sports equipment, travel or apparel for their female rugby teams.
