JGB is terrible at reading options. He kicks (badly) when settling with the ball is the go and shovels slow passes when on the front foot.
You aren’t going to beat the saders by kicking the ball aimlessly back to them

Ben May has been pretty awful on defence. Not just in that play.

He's old. Even when he was young SR was on the edge of his capabilities.

He has the ability to give his outsides less time and space

Seriously, they should try JB at 10. Can't be worse than JGB

Ah fuck look at the box kick. Half the Crusaders forwards stacked behind each other to give Drummond all that room. Pretty shit.

Has Proctor ever done anything to actually back up his hype/contract?

    Thought it was Van Wyk?

    My question stands.

This was exactly the kind of game we needed Beauden to score or set up a try or two against the run of play to steal it.

Management needs to get their best players out there together. A starting backline of TJ, JB, Laumape, Proctor, Lam Aso and Goosen would be better on paper

Crusaders too clinical. At least the Chiefs aren't at the bottom of the table.

    Enjoyable game.

    Jordan was terrific.

Can't say I was impressed by Bridge. Was not threatening at all.

BB puts Laumape under the posts. Too conservative, too little offered on attack

Bridge was Bridge. Unless he gets give the ball 20m out with plenty of space to run straight over the line he’s not going to add much #betterwingerthanriekothough

Good away win 5 tries to 1 only the penalties kept the canes in the game
Bonus point win 5 points for first hit out

Havili you have to admire his effort out there his surgery was extremely serious and he was excellent off the Bench

Bridge got us out of trouble a bit in this game does the basics well pulled off a great tackle on ASO when we were one man down
