Big blow with Dane Coles injuring himself in the final training run before they head over to Aus. Looks like Leni Apisai will start and TJ Perenara will take the reigns. .

New locks, new centres and no Coles. Hopefully the new guys have what it takes. Still plenty of strike power though.

Possible shower in the evening coming off a forecast 31 degree day. Already got my tickets, hoping the Canes flog the Brumbies and all the public servants don't turn up for the remainder of the season...

Lots of talent in that team but worried about the inexperienced midfield combo.

Ive been watching the Hurricanes preseason documentary on foxtel here is Aust which has got me excited about the start of the season. Plenty of new faces. While its a big hole to fill in midfield they have some decent options to try. Hopefully one of them comes off.

Ah cool, must have been thinking about how he had played for samoa so was no longer nz eligible and transferred that to leaving nz all together. Look forward to seeing him breaking people in half again this season.
